Meet The Band

Dave Fogerty

"Music isn't just what something we do, it's how we live!" Dave Fogerty's love of music and sound began long before he ever stepped onto a stage.  Growing up, the house was always filled with the grit and soul of classic rock. Some of my earliest and fondest memories involve sitting with his mom, lost in the timeless records of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Those legendary voices taught him about storytelling, raw emotion, and the power of a great melody. That foundation in "old school" rock ‘n’ roll shaped his DNA as a musician and continues to influence every note he plays today.

As he grew up his passion quickly turned into pursuit. At 16, Dave hit a major turning point when I entered a local Battle of the Bands in Toronto, Ontario. Competing against some of the city’s best emerging talent, his band took home the top prize.

The momentum didn't stop there. Dave continued to hone his craft, pushing his vocal limits and evolving as a performer. At 22, he took his talent to the national stage as a contestant on The Voice Canada placing in the top 50 performers across the nation!

Whether Dave is channeling the soulful grit of classic rock roots or bringing modern energy to the stage, his goal remains the same: to connect. "Music is a shared experience, and I’m just getting started."

Jim O'Neil

Jim O’Neil is a seasoned guitarist with a long and respected history of performing live music. With years of experience on stage, Jim has developed a confident, expressive playing style rooted in feel, tone, and authenticity. His ability to connect with an audience and serve the song has made him a reliable and dynamic presence in any live setting.

A lifelong fan of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jim brings a deep appreciation for the band’s iconic guitar work, earthy grooves, and timeless songwriting. His passion for CCR’s music shines through in his playing, capturing the spirit, textures, and raw energy that made the original recordings so enduring, while still delivering them with his own seasoned touch.

Known for his tight rhythm work, tasteful lead lines, and strong sense of musical chemistry, Jim helps drive the band’s sound with both precision and soul. His dedication to honoring the music and delivering an authentic live experience makes him a cornerstone of the band’s on-stage performance.

Aaron Willms

Aaron has been drumming and singing since the age of 17, developing a powerful sense of groove, dynamics, and vocal harmony that makes him a vital part of any live performance. His deep passion for music and dedication to his craft have allowed him to build decades of experience across multiple genres, from rock and blues to country and beyond.

Over the years, Aaron has performed with a wide variety of respected acts, including Cyanide, Visions, The Stu MacIntosh Band, Trish Wales and Company, Project Alphaa, Nemesis, and The Ashley Lynn Experience, among many others. Each project helped shape his versatile playing style and sharpen his ability to lock in tightly with the band while supporting both the rhythm and vocal foundation of the music.

Known for his solid time, tasteful fills, and strong backing vocals, Aaron brings both musical precision and seasoned professionalism to every stage. His experience, energy, and commitment to delivering an authentic live performance make him an essential driving force behind the band’s sound..

Michael Muscat

Michael loves getting into the groove and lifting the melody, creating a sound that’s both solid and expressive. As bass player and backing vocalist for this CCR theatre production, he keeps the rhythm tight while letting the music breathe.

Michael’s professional return to performing over the past year and a half builds on a rich musical history. In the 1990s, he co-founded the original-material band Out of the Blue, recording at CBC Studios in Toronto and performing at events such as the Freedom Festival. More recently, he has been a core member of The Rose City Rockers, delivering standout live performances that reignited his passion for the stage.

A lifelong fan of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Michael associates their music with the 1970s, a time and era introduced to him by his father. Every performance of “Who’ll Stop the Rain” is a personal dedication to him. Michael’s style blends the groove and heart of Motown and blues with the energy of Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, informed by bass heroes including James Jamerson, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, Tony Franklin, Rudy Sarzo, and Billy Sheehan.

On stage, Michael brings soul, energy, and a sense of lift, always finding the sweet spot where the bass supports the rhythm and melody, making every song feel bigger while keeping it grounded.
